with specialty skills are available as well as
workforce and identification testing. Industrial
operations within the Ohio County region include
wood related industries, office furniture
manufacturing, auto parts manufacturers, die casting
facilities, metal stamping, food production,
industrial hard chrome plating and machining,
electric motor manufacturing, paper products,
electronics, and a host of other production
companies. In the past Ohio County was primarily an
agricultural community but diversified into wood
related products and employment. The wood related
industry represents one quarter of Ohio County’s
employment.
