Water
Ohio County Water District serves each of the
three industrial parks. There are two water towers;
one with a 250,000 gallon capacity and the second
with a 1,000,000 gallon capacity. A new water
treatment plant with a four (4) million gallon
capacity is planned for operation in 2009. The
current water district information is as follows:
Treatment Capacity: 2,300,000
Average Daily Use: 1,800,000
Excess Capacity: 300,000

Wastewater
Ohio County Regional Wastewater District, Inc.
is currently building a new $15.9 million
state-of-the-art facility to be completed in the
spring of 2008. The new facility has the capacity to
treat 2 million gallons of waste per day. This
facility will serve the wastewater treatment needs
of Bluegrass Crossings Business Center, the East and
West Industrial Parks, as well as Beaver Dam,
Hartford, and Centertown.
