 Currently there are three industrial parks operating
in the county.
Industrial Park East has 50 acres available for
current industry to expand or for a small company to
locate on. It hosts the following businesses; NEO
Industries (chroming of aluminum rollers) and
Stericycle (autoclave medical recycling). It also
has a 30,000 sq.ft. spec building ready for
customization to a company’s specifications.
Industrial Park West has 10 acres of property to
develop for new or existing industry. Currently
Nestaway a company that coats metallics and rubber
coats metals, is the only tenant.
Bluegrass Crossings Business Centre has
approximately 900 acres ready for development. Its
current tenants are; Daicel Safety Systems America,
Daicel Safety Technology America, and Ritatsu Manufacturing Inc.
Other industries
located in Ohio County include: Tamarlane
Industries - a sheltered workshop for physically and
mentally challenged individuals; Flexcel - a
division of Kimball International; Perdue - a
poultry processing plant; Young Manufacturing;
Dunaway Timber; and American Nonwoven.
