 Welcome to the Ohio County Industrial Foundation web
site. We are delighted that you chose to visit us
today. We are very proud of our diversity and
heritage and appreciate this opportunity to share
with you just a little bit about our county.
Dedication to the community and the desire to offer
its citizens better career opportunities inspired an
Ohio County Chamber of Commerce to create the Ohio
County Industrial Foundation, Inc. The Industrial
Foundation was granted official status in December
of 1965. The Foundations sole purpose is to promote
the advancement and development of Ohio County,
creating opportunities to stimulate the economy
through new industry development and expanded
opportunities for existing industry.
 In 2005, America’s Promise chose Ohio County as one
of America’s 100 Best Communities for Young People.
We are proud of this distinction and the message it
conveys.
